Arian Foster, rapper Paul Wall give back at holiday toy drive
Retired former Texans running back Arian Foster and his brother, Abdul Foster, teamed up with Houston rapper Paul Wall for a holiday toy drive Wednesday night at IX Innovations.
Houston rapper Slim Thug and doctors Tony Tran and Stephen Jung also participated in the event, which featured toys being donated to kids and a holiday-themed party.
The event was sponsored by Wall, Parents against Predators, IX Innovations and Integrative Spine and Sports. Arian Foster retired earlier this season from the Miami Dolphins. The Texans’ all-time leading rusher, Foster said he’s enjoying his retirement.
“We just wanted to put something together for the foundation,” Abdul Foster said. “They still need more toys, but we wanted to do our part and do something for the kids. It was a great turnout. We appreciate all the guys and girls who showed up and put this thing together. It was awesome. Tony was the man. Everybody did their part. It was phenomenal.”
